IET UK Indian Scolarship 2008

Who can apply
The IET has five scholarships for India worth Rs. 17,000 each. This scholarship
is awarded to outstanding students in the second or
third year of a degree course in I.T., electrical, electronic or
manufacturing engineering in India. A
student need not be a member of the IET in
order to make an application (successful applicants are
provided with free membership for the duration of their course). At the moment we do not have a proper procedure to divide
the scholarships amongst networks. To streamline the process for next
year and to increase the awareness of this scholarship I have received few
suggestions which are mentioned below. I would like to have the views from all
of you for moving forward with these scholarships.
